The aim of the Association’s Quality Standard is to ensure that translation services supplied by Association members meet the reasonable expectations and demands of clients as well as possible. The Association’s Quality Standard defines all procedures associated with the provision of translation services, starting from the taking of the orders and finishing with reaction to the clients’ feedback concerning the quality of the translation services provided. The Quality Standard sets the guidelines for working with clients, project management and management of quality and resources. All Association members have to use the same unit of measurement of texts for translation: a page of 1,500 characters without spaces or 250 words based on the source text.
